Legal Link Recruitment are working with a respected law firm in South East London who are seeking a competent and enthusiastic Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy team.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing and be confident handling transactions from start to finish under supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Using a case management system to manage files efficiently.
- Managing the file opening process, including AML procedures.
- Preparing cost estimates and sending client care letters, Terms of Business, and questionnaires.
- Applying for management packs for leasehold sales.
- Drafting and preparing contract packs for sales.
- Applying for searches and preparing search reports on purchases.
- Reporting to clients on mortgage offers.
- Managing post-exchange formalities, including TR1s, mortgage deeds, and CoTs.
- Handling post-completion work, including SDLT returns and AP1 submissions.
Training will be provided where required for the right candidate.
Key skills & attributes:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
Job type: Permanent, full-time (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, office-based).
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
