Senior Associate – Sports Finance | City of London

Our client, a leading international law firm, are looking to hire a Senior Associate to join their Sports Finance and Core Finance practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the world’s largest and most respected finance teams, working on high-profile and cross-border transactions.

Based in the City of London, the successful candidate will play a key role in advising on sports finance, real estate finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, and project/infrastructure transactions.

You’ll collaborate with market-leading Partners, manage client relationships, and take the lead on complex deals, often ranging between £50m–£500m.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and negotiating key finance documentation and transactions.
Advising lenders, borrowers, and investors on high-value, cross-border deals.
Supporting the Sports Finance team on club, team, and stadium transactions.
Working collaboratively across related finance disciplines.

About You:

Our client seeks a confident and ambitious lawyer, ideally 4–7 years PQE, qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction. You’ll have strong technical skills in finance law, with experience in sports, leveraged, real estate, structured, or project finance. The ability to manage client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to business development is key.
